But in all these things we have full victory through God who showed 
his love for us.

tree planted by a river. The tree produces fruit in season, and its leaves 
don't die. Everything they do will succeed.

Those who are treated badly for doing good are happy, because the kingdom 
of heaven belongs to them.

God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He loves you. So always 
do these things: Show mercy to others, be kind, humble, gentle, and 
patient. Get along with each other, and forgive each other. If someone 
does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you. Do 
all these things; but most important, love each other. Love is what holds 
you all together in perfect unity.
