The LORD says, "My thoughts are not like your thoughts. Your ways are 
not like my ways. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are 
my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than you thoughts."

So what should we say about this? If God is with us, no one can 
defeat us.

Can anything separate us from the love Christ has for us? Can 
troubles or problems or sufferings or hunger or nakedness or 
danger or violent death? As it is written in the Scriptures: 
"For you we are in danger of death all the time. People think 
we are worth no more than sheep to be killed." But in all these 
things we have full victory through God who showed his love for 
us.
Romans 8:35-37





The only temptation that has come to you is that which everyone has. 
But you can trust God, who will not permit you to be tempted more 
than you can stand. But when you are tempted, he will also give you 
a way to escape so that you will be able to stand it.

People who do what is right may have many problems, but the LORD will 
solve them all.

But, God, you will bring down the wicked to the grave. Murderers 
and liars will live only half a lifetime. But I will truest in you.

My friends, do not be surprised at the terrible trouble which now 
comes to test you. Do not think that something strange is happening 
to you. But be happy that you are sharing in Christ's sufferings so 
that you will be happy and full of joy when Christ comes again in 
glory.

We know that in everything God works for the good of those who 
love him. They are the people he called, because that was his 
plan.

so that we may live in his presence and know him. Let's try to

comes. He will come to us like rain, like the spring rain that 
waters the ground.

is a shield to those who trust him.
