The Crucifixion Of Jesus
(Matt. 27:27-56; Mark 15:16-41;
Luke 23:26-49; John 19:17-37)
The real agony of Jesus began when Pilate
Sanctioned his sentence. The soldiers stripped
Him, put a scarlet rob over him, placed a
Crown of thorns on his head and a reed in
His right hand.
"Hail, King of the Jews!" they mocked
him; and for hours they tormented him mer-
cilessly. Then, making Jesus carry his own
cross they led him to the top of the hill of
Golgotha. There, they nailed Jesus to the
Cross and then raised it between those of
Two thieves.
The mob and the high priests heartlessly
Continued mocking him. "Father, forgive
Them; they do not know what they do". Jesus
Said forgivingly.
In the midst of his last agony, Jesus saw
Near the cross his grief-stricken mother and
John, his beloved disciple. "women, behold
Your son". He said to her, indication John.
Then turning to John he added, "John, be-
Hold your mother".
After a while, heavy darkness covered the
Earth.
"It is finished", were the last words of
Jesus. His head fell forward and he gave
Up the spirit.

I am standing on a solid foundation
As painful as it may be to accept, our ancestors were
required to die as part of the evolution of the race. They
died in order that our genius could be spread throughout the
world. They died so that their energy would be shifted into
the invisible, untouchable force that sustains life today.
They died in order that we could stand in a new place, do new
and create a new order. We must stand tall knowing the power,
strength and wisdom of the ancestors is as close as a breath.
All that we ever need to be, to do, to know, to have is
available. All we need do is take a stand.
If we stand tall it is because we stand on the backs of
those who cane before us
