The Resurrection Of Jesus
(Matt. 28:1-15; Mark 16:1-12; Luke 24:1-12;
John 20:1-18)
The disciples of Jesus, frightened because
Of the terrible events, were waiting to see
What would happen next. The women, how-
Ever, were more courageous. Some of them
Followed Jesus up to Golgotha, stood by the
Cross during his last agony and saw where
His body was buried by Joseph and Nico-
Demus.
On the dawn of the third day, three of
These women took perfumes and started out
For the grave of Jesus.
As they approached the tomb, a terrible
Earthquake shook the city. The stone rolled
Away and a bright light shone around the
Tomb. The soldiers on guard fell to the
Earth with fear.
Then, an angel in shining white garments
Appeared to the women and said, "Fear not,
Jesus is risen. Come and see the place where
The lord lay".
Full of joy, the women entered the Gar-
Den. There, Jesus met them, greeted them
With the greeting "All hail (herete)" and
Asked them to tell the good news to his
Disciples.

Today I am willing to do it differently
You can do something the same way for so long that you
begin to do it without thinking. When you are not thinking
about what you are doing, you may not recognize its
harmful effects. Very often, the habit of doing a
certain thing in a certain way robs you of new
experiences. In order to learn to grow and be happy,
you must always seek the new. Take a new route to work
today. Eat lunch in a new environment. Speak to someone
before they speak to you, or let them speak first. Try
the radio instead of television. Bathe in the morning
instead of at night. Be conscious of what you do, how
you do it and be open to happy new experiences.
Instead of wallowing in my misery, I just made
some changes
