Stilling of The Storm

(Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:22-25) One day as Christ was with his disciples In Capernaum, a town near the lake of Gen- Nesaret, he said to them: "Let us go over To the other side of the lake". The disciples Prepared a sail boat and soon they launched Forth. The sky was clear and the lake was Quite. Jesus felt tired. He went to the back Of the boat, lay down and fell asleep. Suddenly, the weather began to change. Lack clouds covered the sky and strong Winds started to blow. Soon, they were in the Midst of a big storm. The boat was at the mercy of the wind and the waves. Filled With water, it was in danger of sinking. The disciples were very frightened, whereas Jesus was still calmly sleeping. In despera- Tion, they woke him up and said to him "master, master, we are lost; save us". Jesus, seeing them terrified, scolded them: "why are you afraid? Where is your faith?" then, he arose and raising his hand ordered the winds and the sea to calm down. Within moments "There was a great Calm". The disciples were astounded. They looked At each other fearfully and said: "this is Incredible, How great Jesus is . . . Even The winds and the sea obey him!"

I live in the light of truth

The human mind is always searching for truth. The mind
guides us through books. It interprets our experiences.
It limits us based on our exposure. The mind searches to
find truth, not realizing that truth was never lost.
Unfortunately, truth cannot reveal itself in a mind that
is busy with personal chatter. That chatter refers to what
you think we need or want and what you say. Unlike truth,
your mental chatter may have nothing to do with what is
real. The only way to find truth is to go deep within the
self and to live from that consciousness and understanding.
The truth is the reality of who you are from the inside out,
and that is something we rarely think about. Truth is
the joy of living, of being, of having a connection to
everyone and everything, without thoughts or malice or
condemnation of any part of you. Truth is the spirit of
life.

Truth is more than a mental exercise
