The Paralytic Of Bethesda

(John 5:1-15) In the time of Jesus Christ, thee was in Jerusalem a pool which was surrounded by Five porches. This pool was called Bethesda. On these porches lay a great number of sick People, blind, lame and paralyzed. The reason They waited there was because an angel of The Lord used to come and trouble the waters In the pool at certain seasons. The first of the sick people who stepped in the pool Would be miraculously cured of any ailment. On a Jewish holy day, as Jesus walked Among the sick at Bethesda, he passed be- Fore a man who had been paralyzed for Thirty-eight years and who had no one to put Him first into the pool when the waters were Troubled. Christ pitied this neglected man And said to him, "Take up your pallet and Walk." The man was immediately cured. Obediently, he took up his stretcher and Walked.

Today I surrender to my truth and live in its being

Are you living your truth? Is it based on your belief, in
the deepest part of your heart? It is that thing you want to
be, to do and have about which you rarely speak to anyone.
It is that sacred place in your spirit that lets you know
no matter what that you are really okay. Are you living your
truth? Are you doing what brings you peace and joy? Are
you smiling to yourself in the face of adversity, believing
you are a divine creation of a loving Father and Mother?
Are you beautiful and strong? Powerful and humble?
Understanding and merciful? Intelligent and faithful?
Protected and prayerful? Is your truth all day, every
day, when others tell you it is impossible, impractical,
irrelevant and dumb? Is the truth of your being an
expression of God? If not, are you really living?
