(Luke 13:10-17) One Sabbath day, when Jesus was teaching In a synagogue, he saw in the crowd a Women who was bent over and who could not Stand upright. She had suffered in this way For eighteen years. Mercifully, Jesus laid his Hands upon her and straightened her. All rejoiced, except the leader of the syna- Gogue, who was jealous of the favor esus Found with the people. Afraid of criticizing Jesus directly, the leader turned to the peo- Ple instead and said: "There are six days on Which work ought to be done; come on those Days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath Day.: To this Jesus replied, "You hypocrite. Does not everyone at least give water to his Animals on the Sabbath? Cannot this women, Then, be released from her suffering on the Sabbath?" Which these words our Lord put His enemies to shame before the people, Who rejoiced in him.

I am open to receive all help that cones to me

On the busiest road leading to the village an old wise man
sat watching a young man struggling to move logs. The young
man sweated, panted and moaned. He called out to the old
man, "Hey, aren't you going to help me get this work done?"
The old man smiled and said "Yes" and continued to sit. A
man passed by and greeted the old man with a smile. The
old man asked, "As a favor to an old man, would you move
a log?' The man complied, as did the second, the third and
so on until all the logs were cleared from the old man's
field. The young man saw this and rebuked the old man for
being lazy. The wise man smiled and replied, "If you are
in the right place, at the right time, using your assets,
the work will get done."
